Student Workshop
This intensive 9-week summer workshop was developed in
response to requests from casting directors, agents, and drama
teachers for a "hands-on" program that would introduce drama
students to the business of professional acting from headshots
to sound-stages. Students learn what's needed to work as a
professional actor in Southern California. They learn what
agents, casting directors, producers, and directors expect from
them the moment they step into an audition room. Students get
plenty of on-camera experience working real scenes from
current movies and television programs. If you're a student who
wants to pursue a career as a professional film and TV actor,
Actors Asylum is the place for you to start becoming a pro.

Young Peoples' Class (Ages 7-12)
Our 9-week Children's Class is designed for
talented young people who have
demonstrated an interest in acting for television commercials
and programs as well as movies. This is not "My Little
Model-USA". In this class, you'll learn the tools you need to
simply be a kid on screen and not "act" like
one.
